Built during the Century of Lights, at the northern border of the city of Strasbourg, the Castle of Pourtalès has been extended and totally refurbished 200 years ago. The tree boarded paths leading to the castle through the vast English park introduce any guest to luxurious its surroundings.
Turrets and marchionesses confer to the castle an authentic romantic charm. Metternich, Louis II de Bavière, Napoleons III and the empress Eugénie, the Russian princes, Franz Liszt or Albert Schweitzer have all been received as guests at the castle.
At the dawn of the XXth century, the countess Mélanie received famous visitors passing through the rhénane city there.
Today, Kieffer, organizer of receptions, puts at your disposal this unique and luxurious castle and its surroundings to host your company’s functions (seminaries, meetings and receptions) and your family events (weddings, birthdays).
Definitely a highlight of prestige and authenticity, the Castle of Pourtalès finds its splendor of origin for you to live a privileged and unforgettable moment.

Discover the Aubette 1928. Following in this spirit of avant-gardism, advocating total art in service of life and its beautification, Theo Van Doesburg, Hans Jean Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp created the décor for the leisure complex the Aubette in 1928. Its geometrically designed staircase allows you to delve into the heart of the roaring twenties to discover the Cine-dancing with its Elementarist décor where one could sip a drink in the Foyer-bar during a screening, and the magnificent Salle des fetes presenting a strict orthogonal composition.
