Strasbourg is the intersection between two high-speed train lines (LGVs): the Rhine-Rhone LGV and the East "European" LGV. The second line means that Paris Gare de l'Est is at 1h45 from Strasbourg, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is at 1h51, Marne-la-Vallée high-speed train station is at 1h57, Massy high-speed train station is at 2h34 and Lyon is at 3h50.

In addition to Strasbourg's train station, the Offenburg station is located only 30 minutes away and is on the Basel-Frankfurt route. It has an extensive transport infrastructure which includes frequent links to the Rhine Valley: Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Frankfurt and its airport, Cologne, etc.

These trains continue on to Hamburg and Berlin. This main transport offer is completed by an ICE International link to Amsterdam.
