Biocluster des Haras (IRCAD)

In 1994, IRCAD was built within the premises of the University Hospitals of Strasbourg, under the guidance of Professor Jacques Marescaux and his team.

IRCAD has decided to establish a Biocluster within the complex of the Haras, just a few minutes from the Petite France. Located in the former stables of the Haras, we are initially a business incubator and host numerous startups in our rental offices.

But we also offer extensive possibilities for organizing events, seminars, and conferences, in a high-end and elegant setting. We have a modular room split into 2 sections with a capacity of 98 seats and a lobby where we can accommodate over 170 people for your cocktails, evenings, or other events.

IRCAD is a training center that hosts over 6,000 surgeons from around the world each year, allowing them to refine their skills in minimally invasive surgery. IRCAD has an infrastructure of over 13,000 m², with 3 auditoriums and 4 meeting rooms, equipped with the latest audiovisual technologies and high-definition video conferencing systems.

Since September 2020, IRCAD has expanded its current infrastructure with an additional auditorium of 237 seats and a modular stage area.
