Our Mercure Strasbourg Center hotel has been committed to a sustainable development approach for several years. We have implemented many initiatives to minimize our impact on the environment while providing our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We are committed to the Planet 21 sustainable development program based on four strategic areas: acting with its employees, involving its customers, co-innovating with its partners and acting with local communities. We believe that our commitment in these areas is essential to reducing our impact on the environment and promoting social well-being.

First, we installed energy-efficient equipment throughout the property, such as LED bulbs. We have also implemented a selective waste sorting system to reduce our carbon footprint and promote recycling.

In addition, we work closely with our suppliers to favor local products, in order to support local agriculture and reduce our carbon footprint linked to the transport of goods.

Finally, we have encouraged our guests to adopt responsible behaviors by providing information on the sustainable activities available in the region, as well as advice on how to reduce their environmental impact during their stay.
