The exceptional setting of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Strasbourg provides an ideal environment for hosting prestigious events in its auditorium, such as study days, conferences, screenings, speeches, and more.
Opened in 1998, the museum unfolds nearly 10,000 m² of light-filled spaces thanks to its glass architecture designed by Adrien Fainsilber. The MAMCS houses more than 20,000 works — from Monet, Kandinsky, Arp, and Picasso to Baselitz, Buren, and Boltanski — displayed in regularly renewed presentations. Each year, it also hosts several major international temporary exhibitions.
Located along the Ill River, at the edge of the picturesque Petite France district, the museum ranks among the best-rated in France, offering a unique and inspiring setting for all types of events.
