In the heart of Strasbourg, at the gateway to La Petite France and on the banks of the Ill River, discover the Nef of the Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain de Strasbourg (MAMCS). Opened in 1998, the museum unfolds its glass and light-filled building, designed by architect Adrien Fainsilber, over nearly 10,000 m².
The Nef provides an exceptional setting for prestigious events: cocktails, dinners, concerts… This spacious, luminous venue creates a unique atmosphere, while the major works preserved throughout the rest of the museum — Monet, Kandinsky, Arp, Picasso, as well as Baselitz, Buren, or Boltanski — showcase the artistic richness of the MAMCS. (Bonus: a private museum tour can also be arranged upon request with a dedicated service.)
