SHADOK, a venue dedicated to introducing and raising awareness of responsible digital technology, stands out for its diverse programme. Located in Strasbourg, it offers workshops, drop-in sessions, events, conferences and training courses, all free of charge and accessible to everyone, regardless of age.
Built by community organisations with the support of several public and private partners, it meets the needs of residents through a multidisciplinary programme. Here, people can learn how to use tools and contribute to critical thinking about responsible and inclusive digital technology, right in the heart of the city. 

Its objective is twofold: to facilitate the adoption of digital tools through comprehensive training courses combining theory and practice, while creating a privileged space for critical reflection on our daily digital uses and much more.

As a resource centre for the region, the Shadok is accessible to all residents, offering an inclusive opportunity to explore and gain a deeper understanding of digital issues.

Getting started with digital technology

Le Shadok offers workshops on how to use computers, tablets and smartphones. Digital help desks are also available to answer your questions on an individual basis.

Because digital technology also offers a tremendous opportunity to unleash and multiply your creativity, at Le Shadok you can also take part in robot-building workshops, play independent video games, and learn about electronic music and digital creation.
